    QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE NEEDED

    • BSc (OT) or equivalent recognised and AHPRA registered.

    • Able to demonstrate initiative, that you are a team player, are flexible and work in an organised manner.

    • We require strong written and verbal communication skills.

    • This position is open to new graduates and experienced OTs.

    • National Police Clearance obtained within the last 6 months

    • Current Working with Children’s Check

    • Proof of vaccination

    • Current C Class Drivers Licence and suitable vehicle

    • Ability to manage a growing caseloads

    ABOUT THE ROLE

    Our multidisciplinary therapists complete both school, clinic and home visits as required.

    Our Occupational Therapists cover the following responsibilities: 

    • Work with individuals with a range of physical, sensory, behavioural, emotional, and cognitive needs. 

    • Provide and implement evidence-based interventions in a clinic and community setting.

    • Participate in clinical supervision and peer sessions.

    • Complete initial assessments, FCA, planning and implementing intervention sessions at school, day care and home visits. 

    • Complete administrative duties including progress notes, writing reports, developing therapy resources and group programs. 

    • Deliver a range of assessment and interventions for many areas.

    • Report writing.

    • Working within the team of SPs, OTs, Physios, Ex physio and Psychs in the practice, teachers and other professionals.

    This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate and dedicated therapists who wants to make a real difference in the lives of children.   

    Hours of work will be flexible Monday to Friday.

    • Deliver a range of assessment and interventions for many areas.

    • Report writing and goal setting within NDIS protocols and private sector

    • Working within the team of SPs and OTs in the practice, teachers and other professionals.

    QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE NEEDED

    • Tertiary qualifications in Psychology

    • Registered with AHPRA in a Registrar program – e.g., clinical psychology, clinical neuropsychology, education and developmental psychology, or forensic psychology

    • For endorsed positions: registration with AHPRA with endorsement in clinical psychology,  clinical psychology, clinical neuropsychology, education and developmental psychology, or forensic psychology

    • Registration or ability to become registered with AHPRA

    • A National Police Clearance, Working With Children/Working with Vulnerable People Check & NDIS Worker Screening Clearance or able to get one for a client facing role (or willingness to obtain one before commencement)
